Expensevues is operated by [legal entity name] ("we"). This policy explains what we collect on this website and in the Expensevues service, and how we use it.
This website
- Demo requests. When you request a demo, we collect your name, work email, company, phone number (if you give one), team size and your message. We use it only to reply to you and follow up about Expensevues. We don't sell it.
- Finding your sign-in page. If you ask us to email your company's sign-in link, we use your email address only to look up your account and send that email. We don't store it, apart from a 15-minute limit on repeat emails.
- Cookies. This website sets one security cookie that protects its forms. We don't use advertising or analytics cookies.
The Expensevues service
Companies that use Expensevues ("customers") decide what goes into it. We process that information on their behalf to provide the service. It includes:
- names and work email addresses of the people a customer invites
- expenses: dates, amounts, descriptions, categories and the names of people or customers involved
- receipts, including photos, PDFs and forwarded emails
- card nicknames and the last 4 digits of each card (never full card numbers)
Questions about information in a customer's account should go to that company first. We'll help them respond.
Service providers
We use a small number of providers to run Expensevues: DigitalOcean (servers and database), Cloudflare (file storage and DNS), Postmark (email delivery) and Sentry (error monitoring, set up to exclude personal information). They may process information only to provide their service to us.
Security and retention
Our security page explains how we protect information. We keep customer data for as long as the customer's agreement requires, [retention period], and demo requests for as long as needed to follow up.
